MONOCROME..SIMPLISTIC..EDGE

Shop my whole look on the 21 buttons App: mariahmimi

Choker V neck top - New Look
Leather Jacket - Amazon (I had to link a similar version as my one isn't available anymore)
Light wash ripped knee jeans - Asos
Faux suede chunky heel chelsea boots - Primark

I love simple casual outfits like this that instantly work well together. For me, wearing a crisp white T-shirt and jeans makes the basics for an outfit for any occasion. These jeans are so comfy and they fit pretty much perfectly, mid rise jeans are always a great in-between of hipsters a.k.a. low rise and high waisted jeans. Throwing on a leather jacket and boots gives the outfit an edgy vibe that I absolutely LOVE!

Happy shopping everyone!

WASH || DAY || ROUTINE

Hi everyone!
I've been wanting to do this post for a while now and although the pictures are old I will definitely be updating you on any changes that will happen in the future. Have fun trying these products out and see if you like them...

STEP 1: WASHING
I shampoo my hair once a week just to get rid of any build up. However, I personally only shampoo my scalp as shampooing the ends of my hair causes dryness. I either have two choices:

This is a 100% natural  handmade shampoo bar that I use. I bought this off of eBay. I have the Tea tree and neem oil one to help with my itchy scalp. Click here to see their products.

This is another natural shampoo that I use. It is free from artificial colours and fragrances so the fragrance it does have is natural and it smells refreshing. It doesn't contain any parabens or SLES (Sulphates) and the bottle is even made from recycled materials. Again I buy this brand on eBay. This is the Pineapple and Lime Shampoo for oily hair. My hair isn't oily however, I use this when I can feel a lot of build up on my scalp. Click here to see their products.

STEP 2: CONDITIONING
After washing I will finger de-tangle my hair in the shower using a conditioner. The conditioner that I am loving is:

Dealing with...ANXIETY

Hello everyone!
I was sitting down wondering what to post and at first I decided to talk about my natural curly hair routine however, I realised I washed my hair yesterday and I wanted to show you all a step by step of how I do my hair (don't worry this is definitely coming soon). After anticipating I decided to do this post on suffering with anxiety. **I just wanted to add that I am in no way doing this for pity but instead hoping the following helps you understand what anxiety is and how you can deal with it or help someone you know deal with it. This is a very hard subject for me to talk about so bare with me**

I suffer with General Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and panic attacks. I have had these for approximately...6 years now however it has gotten much worse within the last 7 months of my life.

What is General Anxiety Disorder?
GAD is a term given to an individual that constantly worries about certain things in life. These tend to be irrational thoughts such as worrying about the weather, worrying about the time etc. These are usually things that are out of our control however, it is likely to also have rational thoughts such as worrying about your career/job, worrying about your health etc. These are usually things that we can control.

How did I know I had it?

I knew I had anxiety issues during High school. I was always worried about getting good grades and would get disheartened when I didn't do so well especially in exams (I also have exam phobia but I'll get to that later). I noticed my peers didn't worry about the same sort of things as I did. At this stage of my life my anxiety wasn't bad until I became really anxious about passing my GCSEs.
